I've been bad about posting, things have been crazy. I've had two concerts and sent 24 kids to NYSSMA. My last concert is tonight, I'm pumped!

During the move and a week later, I ended up dropping down to 140. Thats the lowest I've been since last year. Currently I'm about 142...but I haven't exercised AT ALL. I suck. Go ahead and throat punch me:(

While I haven't exercised, I've been panting, planting, cleaning, walking Anna and swimming. I do miss the routine I had going before.

I've been eating okay, but not all that great. I was eating about 8 servings of fruit/veggies a day and drinking a heck of a lot of water but thats diminished too.

I'm okay with this all, knowing that it will change in the next week. I just have to finish out this school year... :)

hmm...

Okay, this weekend was SO fun! I had a blast with the girls, ate some yummy food and had amazing wine:-D Erin- you seemed so happy! Even in looking at pictures your face is just BEAMING!

That being said, I have taken a small hiatus from exercising. This will end tomorrow and Jillian will come back into my life. Sunday I spent moving a lot of stuff, so there was sooommme physical activity.

This weekend I did not eat great, but so what. I keep reading its good to take a day or two to eat within reason, but anything you want. Keeps your metabolism from plateauing or becoming too dormant. I like this though. Sometimes I think I add too many of those days into a week...

Lunch was small today because I conducted an afternoon concert and had to set up. Just had an apple, a cheese stick and my sandwich. I do have to say, when I have breakfast I am not craving things in the afternoon like I usually do. I am never really hungry in the morning but the days I make myself eat, I thank myself around 3pm when I am normally binging on snack food.

Speaking of breakfast. I never realized a serving was one cup of cereal. I think I normally do 2 or 3 servings without realizing it. Oops. Good to know.

Also, another side note. I really like Rinzonni Smart Taste pasta over Barilla Plus. Smart taste has less calories, less sodium and more fiber. It does have 1g less of protein but thats understandable knowing the caloric intake.

Anyway, tomorrow will be a good day! I am looking forward to getting back into my routine.

Tuesday

Tomorrow is concert day...I am hoping it goes well. I think the kids are ready, and they are certainly excited!

Went tanning during lunch...its a bit addicting. I swear I am in a better mood afterwards. I have convinced myself its for medical reason, I need the vitamin D:)

Ate well yesterday, resisted the urge for ice cream after dinner.

Breakfast today:
3/4 Banana (1.5)
Cheese stick(2)

Lunch:
2 slices Turkey (1)
WW whole wheat bread (2)
Sunchips (3)
Strawberries (1.5)
Apple technically one, but I didn't have a cup and a half of strawberries so I am calling this 0.
Carrots (0)

Total today is 11, leaves 11 for dinner tonight.
Plan to take Anna for an extra long walk today (its beautiful outside!) as well as Shred level 2, day 4 today.

made a yummy dinner...smart pasta with light alfredo. my favorite veggie lately has been roasted asparagus with a touch of oil, garlic and pepper. So yummy. Throw it in at 400 for 6 minutes or until bright green and its amazing. just call me stinky pee erin.

Did Level 2 Day 3 Shred. Just waiting for my 6-pack. Haha, yeah right:)

mothers day

Had a great weekend at home, but didn't exercise at all on Saturday and Sunday. No weight lost this weekend, but I didn't gain either. I will get back to Shred today...level 2 day 3! I didn't eat well at all this weekend, but packed my usual "weight watchers" lunch today. My biggest pet peeve with WW is that fruit and milk are points. Makes me reach for a diet coke instead of a skim milk.

The PTA has lunch out for teachers today at CL...I am avoiding at all cost in hopes I don't get taken in by delisciousness.

I am going to eat my packed lunch and fake bake during lunch. Running errands after school, checking on Anna (acting a little lathargic and has a strange bump on her stomache) then shredding.

breakfast: banana and coffee (2)

Lunch: cheese stick (2)
sandwhich on WW bread (4)
strawberries (1)
apple (1)
sunships 100 cal pack (2)
carrots (0)

so far total... 13 so I have 9 more points for dinner. As long as I don't indulge in afternoon snacks that should be fine. Its hard waiting to eat with Clinton at 7:30.

Weight Loss

I need to be accountable for my weight. I have gained almost 20 pounds since this summer, arg! I would love to be back to my "college" weight by Kim's wedding in August, and then maintain that weight and toning for my own wedding in November.

In this journal I plan on documenting food, weight watcher points, photos and exercise.

For 2 weeks I have been following weight watchers, as well as I am on day 10 of Jillian Michael's Shred dvd program. So far I have lost 4.5 pounds...but I am really struggling to eat well.

This week is Teacher Appreciation Week...and while I love the PTA for the amazing spreads of sandwhiches, desserts, candies and drinks....this is getting really tough:-P

When I began in Mid April I weight 150 on the nose. This past Sunday I weight 145.5

Breakfast- banana (2)
Lunch- cheese stick (2)
strawberries (1)
carrots (0)
salami- (2)
weight watchers whole wheat bread (1)
1 slice american cheese (2)
100 calorie pack sunchips (2)

Total so far today... 12.
Day total should total 22, so I have 10 left for dinner and snack

Exercise goal for tonight is level 2 Shred and then No More Trouble Zones. I think Jillian should be my new BFF. I did get the Wedding Workout DVD too...not as intense...but I laughed out loud because they teach you how to do a strip tease on your wedding night.

I have now moved to new jersey. Internet and cable is hooked up, clothes are put away and I'm amazed at how less stressed I am this time around than last year at this time. I am so excited to see what the future holds. I know its silly, but I am super excited to see Clinton during the week. Being able to just lounge, watch tv and make dinner together will be so wonderful and such a change of pace. I know I am going to miss my family and girl friends, but I'm hoping to see them as often as I can. I couldn't be more excited to be kim's maid of honor... I am SO excited that she asked me. Its funny to think of all my friends transitions. Sarah and Jen and their new house and career adventures, Kimmy getting hitched, Erin's new beautiful home, Danielle's first year of marriage. So many great things to be thankful for.

In other news I want to get a puppy or dog. Badly. I know my parents think its a bad idea... and I definetly can understand. The responsibility for a dog is huge, and my job has me gone all day. This is something I've wanted to do for so long though, I'm hoping it works out. Clinton and I went to look at puppies on the way back from celebrating kim's engagement on LI. I think Clinton melted, so he is excited to get one : ) I'm glad he likes them too, because normally he is a cat person. I have three breeds I like a lot: a yorkie, a maltese or a maltipoo.

I am really excited for my new job teaching 4th and 5th grade band. I have new teacher orientation starting Monday and I hope it all goes well... and I hope everyone is easy to talk to! I'm such a tool and those type things because I seem to lack any of the little social skill I have haha.

I'm leaving tomorrow for Cape Cod with Clinton and his parents. I'm really excited. I haven't been to the Cape since I was super little... so little I don't remember it! I am pumped for the beach, whale watching and getting some good sea food. I hope we all have a nice time! The McConnells have more energy then me. Sometimes I think I'm 80 years old because I'm happy going to bed by 11 haha. Hope all is well in journal land: )
