I have now moved to new jersey. Internet and cable is hooked up, clothes are put away and I'm amazed at how less stressed I am this time around than last year at this time. I am so excited to see what the future holds. I know its silly, but I am super excited to see Clinton during the week. Being able to just lounge, watch tv and make dinner together will be so wonderful and such a change of pace. I know I am going to miss my family and girl friends, but I'm hoping to see them as often as I can. I couldn't be more excited to be kim's maid of honor... I am SO excited that she asked me. Its funny to think of all my friends transitions. Sarah and Jen and their new house and career adventures, Kimmy getting hitched, Erin's new beautiful home, Danielle's first year of marriage. So many great things to be thankful for.
In other news I want to get a puppy or dog. Badly. I know my parents think its a bad idea... and I definetly can understand. The responsibility for a dog is huge, and my job has me gone all day. This is something I've wanted to do for so long though, I'm hoping it works out. Clinton and I went to look at puppies on the way back from celebrating kim's engagement on LI. I think Clinton melted, so he is excited to get one : ) I'm glad he likes them too, because normally he is a cat person. I have three breeds I like a lot: a yorkie, a maltese or a maltipoo.
I am really excited for my new job teaching 4th and 5th grade band. I have new teacher orientation starting Monday and I hope it all goes well... and I hope everyone is easy to talk to! I'm such a tool and those type things because I seem to lack any of the little social skill I have haha.
I'm leaving tomorrow for Cape Cod with Clinton and his parents. I'm really excited. I haven't been to the Cape since I was super little... so little I don't remember it! I am pumped for the beach, whale watching and getting some good sea food. I hope we all have a nice time! The McConnells have more energy then me. Sometimes I think I'm 80 years old because I'm happy going to bed by 11 haha. Hope all is well in journal land: )

101 goals to do in 1001 days
I've seen this link in a few friend's profiles and journals and thought I would attempt this as well. We all know how I enjoy making lists. Here's the link: http://triplux.stilljournal.com/dayzero/
The Mission: Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days? Many people have created lists in the past - frequently simple goals such as New Year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organizing and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.
